The following terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and AbbotsLangley Cabs. By booking a taxi and utilizing our services, you indicate your unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions as outlined in this agreement.
1. Definitions
AbbotsLangley Cabs, referred to as "we" or "us," denotes the service provider. "You" and "your" can pertain to any individual, business, or company making a reservation with us.
2. Booking
2.1 It is your responsibility to allocate sufficient time for your journey to ensure timely arrival. This applies to all airport transfers, where adherence to check-in times is vital for your flight. AbbotsLangley Cabs will not be held responsible for delays resulting from your failure to allocate adequate travel time or your unavailability at the scheduled pickup time.
2.2 You must select a vehicle of appropriate size for all passengers and luggage. We do not guarantee the transport of an excessive amount of luggage. Please note that, regardless of age, a child is counted as a single passenger.
2.3 Passengers requiring wheelchair accessibility should make this request at the time of booking.
3. Prices & Payment
3.1 AbbotsLangley Cabs provides quotations based on information provided by you. All prices, unless specified otherwise, exclude VAT, which will be added if applicable. In the event of significant changes to the planned itinerary, we retain the right to adjust the quoted price.
3.2 Our quote includes a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and covers airport parking costs. Any waiting time exceeding this limit will be charged at our standard waiting rate. While we endeavor to monitor flight details and adjust our service for delays, we are not obligated to do so.
3.3 Upon accepting a quote from us, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review this confirmation for accuracy. Failure to notify AbbotsLangley Cabs of any discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs for which we are not liable.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made in cash, by credit card, or debit card.
4. The Service
4.1 You are responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Any soiling, damage, or disruption caused by a passenger may incur a cleaning fee.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking in the vehicle is prohibited.
4.3 All children must be appropriately restrained in accordance with their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We are not authorized to transport more passengers than permitted by licensing or insurance.
5. Cancellations
5.1 In case of a cancellation, please notify AbbotsLangley Cabs as soon as possible. If a vehicle is canceled after dispatch, charges will apply based on the driver's time and distance to the point of cancellation.
5.2 Cancellations made before vehicle dispatch for bookings made through our online system may incur a charge.
6. Liability
6.1 While AbbotsLangley Cabs strives to ensure timely arrival, we are not liable for losses resulting from delays beyond our control. Under no circumstances will AbbotsLangley Cabs be responsible for any losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Your luggage is carried at your own risk.
6.3 In the event of a breakdown, we will make every effort to provide an alternative vehicle for you to continue your journey promptly.
6.4 You shall not hold AbbotsLangley Cabs liable for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any act or omission of any individual in your party.
6.5 No party involved can exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or any other matter deemed unenforceable under applicable laws.
7. Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if the safety of a vehicle or driver is compromised by any passenger through abuse, violence, or damage. No refunds will be provided for terminated journeys.
8. Miscellaneous
8.1 AbbotsLangley Cabs may delegate its obligations as stated in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer any rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 AbbotsLangley Cabs may amend these terms and conditions at any time, with changes reflected on this page. Please regularly review these terms and conditions to stay informed about any updates. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle and process information in accordance with the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between AbbotsLangley Cabs and you.
8.5 No provision in these terms and conditions is intended to confer benefits upon a third party. No third party may enforce rights under this agreement unless agreed upon in writing.
9. Disputes
Any dispute or claim must be made within 30 days from the pickup date of your booking. AbbotsLangley Cabs is not obligated to address claims or disputes filed after this timeframe.
